Italy

As many of you know in June this summer we are planning a trip to Italy! I can hardly wait! Morgan's family is all going too, we are going to be quite the crew! A sight to see! Morgan's brother Shanon has traveled a lot of places in Europe and he is coordinating the trip, and is really good at stuff like this. We will be renting a villa somewhere near Siena for 7 days and then flying to Rome for the remainder of the trip for 2-3 days. We also will be touring wineries privately... thanks to Morgan's mom's connection with her wine guy here. We may even have a chef cook for us a night or two (I am hoping they will teach as they go) :)



Here is the advice I have got so far:

Pack comfortable shoes (all the hot Italian women walk around in heels - but I will not be one of them)

Eat pastries, go to markets and eat lots of gelatto

Ask for Ice if you like cold drinks

Be mindful when ordering Chef's special

Take food to go rather than dining in because of the fee attached sometimes
