I have finally found a second to blog about our trip since I have been back in town. This trip was one of the most perfect vacations I have ever had. Shanon, Morgan's brother truley did a fantastic job, he worked so hard at planning one of the most memorable vacations ever. So thanks SHANON! We visited Siena, Florence, Volterra and many other small towns in the Tuscany Region for 6 days. Ate amazing food, drank alot of wine, drove the coutry side (which I have to say each town has circles and or roundabouts) and laughed at too many things to possible write down. Our last day at the villa was my sister in law's birthday Laine, and we had a private cooking lesson with the cutest old lady named Gratzia. The next morning we headed to Rome. One of my father in laws major request was for us to drive along the Coast to get to Rome...and we did! As a little kid he did a trip with his family so I think it brought back child memories and who doesnt love those! When we got to Rome that afternoon, the city was shut down basically because of a Gay Pride Parade. So we couldnt get to the street where our hotel was. But after a lot of driving around and driving through a police baracade (Morgan wasnt even driving that time) and after dropping off the rental cars, we taxied in and finally checked in! Our trip in Rome was amazing as well.
Here are some pics to prove it all...Arrivederci!

Hey guys. Sounds like a great trip! We hope to make it to Italy in the fall but we'll see - it's long in the making and can't wait to experience it all - food, wine, culture - delicious.
Take care! Jess
